Charenton Canal Phase II consists of a 59,030 sq. ft. ship manufacturing building on sixteen acres. This building is designed to fabricate the largest crew boats in the world. The office area is 2,900 sq. ft. and includes restrooms, offices, and a break room for workers. Construction included a manufactured metal building with a pile supported foundation, and 4,750 gallon waste water treatment plant. Site work included a 17” limestone yard with lime treated sub-grade. The project also included the installation of a separate jig area with I-beams set in concrete on driven piles for up lift control.
